Mistletoe Marketplace - A Hometown christmas tradition

Mistletoe Marketplace- A Hometown Christmas Tradition was reimagined and brought to life December of 2024.  The wonderful host of Eagle Lake First Assembly of God, alongside the creative imagination and direction of Mr. Justin Newberry, has this very festive Christmas event shining bright.

A number of years ago, the City of Eagle Lake presented the original Mistletoe Marketplace where visitors gathered from all over Central Florida.  The event was held in the downtown region of the city and brought so much joy.  Locals continue to reminisce of those special days gone by and are now enjoying the new event.

This Christmas celebration holds fun for all ages! You’ll experience a visit with Santa and Mrs. Clause along with some of their favorite and mischievous elves.  Grinch and Cindy Lou Who are ready to make you giggle, wonder what’s next, and cause your heart to grow three sizes. Specialty rooms for coloring, cookie decorating and candy shopping are fun stops, each decorated to leave you awe struck.  For a grand shopping experience, stop by the gym where you’ll find approximately 30 vendors ready to help you check off that Christmas wish list.  Let your imagination take you to the Polar Express while watching the Lionel train display.  Take time to slow down and reminisce as you stroll through the Decades of Trees that features decorations back to the early 1900’s.  You just might see something that allows time travel back to your childhood days.

Each night we offer an outdoor stage where our local schools are featured and other special entertainers lighten our spirits with Christmas cheer.  At 7:00pm the stage goes quiet for half an hour and the main sanctuary becomes energized with the Real Story of Christmas… the birth of a perfect baby born to be our loving Savior.  The children of Eagle Lake First Assembly present a very moving Nativity Story.  You’ll want to be in the audience every night.  It’s such a special and reverent time.

As you walk through the entire campus, you’ll be greeted with sweet smiles on the friendliest folks. Lights, garlands and over 300 beautifully decorated trees deck every hall.

Join us nightly from 5:30pm - 8:30pm on December 3, 4, 5, 10, 11 & 12.
